Fall 2011

Well here it is already, another summer is over and the “fall” weather has arrived early!!! As I sit in the house at Sullivan Bay watching the rain, it reminds me of the short summer we had. The season was great although the weather did not cooperate with us on the Northern part of the coast.

We met a lot of new boaters who visited the area for the first time and welcomed back our friends that we have made in the past years.  To those that we missed this year, we hope you had great boating adventures and a fun summer!!

The newly renovated “Happy Hour” float welcomed you and boasted many tasty appetizers and great live entertainment this year. We also have many memories of the events taken place in the “Town Hall” Restaurant, from sold out “Prime Rib” dinners, to our comical dress up “Italian” night, you have made the ambiance of the “Best Restaurant in Town” a success.

The fishing season was short although there were many fish brought in.  The most memorable for me was on July 1st, the 36 ½ lb. King Salmon caught on a small casting rod.  Another was the gentleman who had caught there first ever halibut, radioed in saying they needed help with it, my reply was “to eat it or clean it”!!  Their bounty was shared with all!!

Thank you all for your patronage this season.  I would also like to thank our “Homeowner/Investors” for giving us the ability to provide you with the services we have to offer.

We hope you all have a great fall and winter and hope to see you all next season!!

All the best,

Chris, Debbie and Buddy
